Use this forum to freely share your images. Images here are not for critique, nor is this forum meant to searve as a showcase for your best work. If you prefer to have your photographs critiqued, please post your images in the "Critique" forum. If you would like to display your image as more of a showcased work then please upload the images to the member galleries.

Submit an image for members to provide creative/constructive input. Receive honest input from members. Learn to evaluate images through a subjective artistic & analytical process. All evaluations should be written in a friendly, well structured, easy to read format.

The photo4ums monthly common theme challenges are designed to get our members shooting and to promote photographic skillset growth. The photo4ums challenges are open to ALL photo4ums members - Member favorites are chosen using a polling-vote system.

The photo4ums assignments are 14 day exploratory projects designed to be more mechanical than artistic. The objective is to grow as a photographer and promote using camera settings other than automatic. Assignment subjects are designed to be simple, fun, and educational. Assignments are not contests or competitions by any means. Again, the objective here is to improve as a photographer.

For discussions regarding image post-processing and post processing applications like Adobe Photoshop. Share your post-processing knowledge with others, or ask if you need help.

Discussions pertaining to image file organization/management and applications like Adobe Lightroom and Apple Aperture. Share your experience with these programs with others, or ask if you have questions. Share your file processing & management tips.

Tips and Tutorials from the team of the Digital Photography School. In depth tutorials and detailed tips for everyone from beginner to advanced photographers.
